AJDA PEKKAN - BOCHUM

Ajda Pekkan, widely known as the “Superstar” and “Diva”, is one of the most prominent figures in Turkish music. Pekkan is known for her numerous albums featuring countless hits, her modern musical style and her impressive live performances. For more than 40 years, she has continued to capture the attention of audiences and is regarded as a great role model and source of inspiration for many.

Ajda Pekkan has also achieved great success on an international level. In the early 1970s, the singer reached the French Top 40 with her song “Pour Lui”. However, her greatest international achievement came with her second-place finish at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1980, which took place in the Netherlands.

Ajda Pekkan’s last performance in the Netherlands took place in 2012 at Heineken Music Hall.
