AJDA PEKKAN - LONDON

Ajda Pekkan, popularly also known as “Superstar” and “Diva”, is a prominent figure in the Turkish music industry. Pekkan is known for her many albums featuring countless hit songs, her modern musical style, and her impressive live performances. For more than 40 years, she has managed to captivate audiences and has become a major role model and source of inspiration for many people.

Ajda Pekkan has also achieved great success internationally. In the early 1970s, the singer scored a French Top 40 hit with “Pour Lui”. Her greatest achievement, however, was second place at the Eurovision Song Contest 1980, which took place in the Netherlands in 1980.

The last time the singer performed in the Netherlands was in 2012 at the Heineken Music Hall.
