AJDA PEKKAN - ROTTERDAM

Ajda Pekkan, widely known as the “Superstar” and “Diva”, is one of the most prominent figures in Turkish music. Pekkan is known for her many albums featuring countless hits, her modern musical style and her impressive live performances. For more than 40 years, she has continued to captivate audiences and remains a great inspiration and role model for many.

Ajda Pekkan has also achieved remarkable success internationally. In the early 1970s, she reached the French Top 40 with her song “Pour Lui”. Her biggest international achievement came in 1980 when she represented Turkey at the Eurovision Song Contest held in the Netherlands, finishing in second place.

Ajda Pekkan’s last performance in the Netherlands took place in 2012 at Heineken Music Hall.
